I'm squeezing every bit of wool out of Tuesday's sketching trip.  Anyway, it turns out that sheep are knock-kneed.  Who knew?

#380 Near Sheep

I managed to quickly sketch a few sheep before they scampered away yesterday, and then add some digital color this morning.  And, Roger was able to get the recent photos of my sketches off my camera onto his computer!

#379 Sheep and Broken Rules

Sketched in graphite on a gray day, with plein air friends.  We were trying to sketch or paint some sheep but they got skittish and wandered off.   There are a few in the background of this scene, which is very centered around the dark tree.  A nice oil painting of this area can be seen on Sandra Offutt's painting blog.

The big challenge of digital painting outside is trying to see the screen well enough to know which color has been chosen!

#376 Whidbey Scenery

Until I can solve my camera connection problem, I'll be posting just my digital art.  This is a beach on the west side of Whidbey Island.
