Port Angeles is full of excellent, potential painting vignettes. It has little houses perched on hills, alleys stretching off east and west, and then- the Olympic mountains to the south and the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the north. This was done this morning, on a warm and sunny day, with the fog lifting off the Strait; it was a perfect painting day. But a warning to any prospective painters: PA in the sunshine can make you giddy and sundrunk, but the same scene on a grey day seems more grey than you would expect...
